Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage material inventory and coordinate with project managers
- Provide exceptional client communication and service documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license in New York State
- 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC codes and NYC Local Laws
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent physical condition for climbing/lifting requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
