Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Ensure all work complies with District of Columbia plumbing codes and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and clients on plumbing system specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems
- Train apprentices on industry best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial and residential plumbing experience
- Expertise in pipefitting, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with District of Columbia plumbing codes and regulations
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong customer service and communication skills
