Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose and resolve urgent leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for complex installations
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide emergency service calls within 2-hour response time
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and requisition materials for projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid Michigan plumbing license (journeyman/master)
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex hydraulic systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with trenchless pipe rehabilitation
- Knowledge of HVAC integration with plumbing systems
