Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive project deadlines
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
