Responsibilities
- Perform physical construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespersons with foundation work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work zones
- Read basic blueprints and project specifications for accurate task execution
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery under supervision
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment to job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and quality control checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
