Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and cleanup operations
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery safely
- Maintain organized job sites and assist with daily site inspections
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation as required
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with potential overtime
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and blueprint reading
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
