Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Install new plumbing equipment in compliance with Michigan building codes
- Respond to emergency calls within 2 hours in Detroit metro area
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections for commercial clients
- Estimate repair costs and provide transparent quotes to customers
- Maintain inventory of tools and replacement parts
- Document service reports in digital tracking system
Qualifications
- Michigan Journeyman Plumber license required
- 3+ years residential/commercial plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Customer service excellence with conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
