Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and site prep
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, and light machinery
- Participate in emergency response for weather-related project delays
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid state ID and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic tool handling experience or willingness to learn quickly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided if not currently held)
- Flexibility for 10-12 hour shifts and weekend availability
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration
