Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) under certified supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with foundational and structural work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Inspect and maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics
- Transport materials and equipment safely across job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime
