Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen in site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, and vehicles as needed
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Complete daily timecards and progress documentation accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with no attendance issues
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
