Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise execution of construction plans
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws) under supervision
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly
- Basic understanding of construction math and measurement tools
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliable attendance
