Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery safely (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, concrete saws)
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily site cleanup
- Document work progress and report issues to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction/labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction machinery
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
