Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring safety compliance at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate hand/power tools under supervisor guidance (training provided)
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal daily
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for task execution
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Background check compliance mandatory
