Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Load/unload heavy equipment and supplies safely using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) following OSHA safety standards
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal instructions
