Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including digging, grading, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to ensure smooth workflow.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing trash, organizing tools, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Measurements: Help with measuring, cutting, and marking materials to ensure precise installation.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time and stay focused throughout the shift.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand instructions from supervisors.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate effectively with other crew members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by our safety policies.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
