Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with precision and safety compliance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA and city regulations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation protocols
- Load/unload materials and equipment efficiently using proper techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater Boston
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow complex instructions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
