Responsibilities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring OSHA compliance
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout and framing tasks
- Erect temporary structures and scaffolding as directed
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor in all weather conditions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
- Comfortable working in heights and confined spaces
