About the Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, ensuring that sites are safe, clean, and ready for the next phase of work. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Clean work areas, dig trenches, and prepare sites for construction activities.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
