Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, framing, and finishing work
- Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Class B CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math and measurement skills
