Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting Tradespeople: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Measurement & Layout: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual for every shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
