Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and tradespeople for seamless project delivery
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventative maintenance
- Read technical blueprints and interpret construction schematics
- Document daily progress and report safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or equivalent)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience preferred
- Strong mathematical skills for material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
