Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trade professionals on-site
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project guidelines
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery with proper training
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and safety practices
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime
- Willingness to travel between DC and Virginia job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
