Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear work areas, dig trenches, and prepare surfaces for concrete or foundation work.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various on-site tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools (saws, drills) and heavy machinery (forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Safety Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site; follow all safety protocols and regulations.
- Measurement & Cutting: Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and instructions.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid driverβs license and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
