Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by the site foreman.
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, heat).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is preferred.
