Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, concrete pouring, and structural assembly
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA compliance standards
- Perform equipment maintenance checks and report safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet critical project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
