Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Read and interpret basic construction plans under supervision
- Contribute to project timelines by efficiently completing assigned tasks
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to site supervisors
- Participate in team meetings to align on daily objectives
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train everyone!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime when needed
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
