Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (forklifts, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with equipment setup and site preparation
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
- Document daily progress and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation to San Jose worksites
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality for night shifts
