Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts, excavators, and power tools
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform daily equipment inspections and site cleanup duties
- Collaborate with project managers to meet construction deadlines
- Document progress and report any site irregularities promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory control
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for 6 AM daily start times
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication abilities
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed
