Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging, and grading as directed by supervisors.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, carrying lumber, and cleaning work areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and hand tools under supervision (e.g., forklift, jackhammer, saws).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other specialized trades as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety standards.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow workers.
- Valid ID: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
