Responsibilities
- Assist in general construction tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) under direct supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to ensure a secure working environment for the team.
- Clean and maintain the work area daily to meet quality and safety standards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
