Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Support Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Basic Labor: Perform general labor tasks such as sweeping, washing, and operating basic power tools.
- Inventory: Help with inventory checks and documentation of materials used.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
