Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate construction machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) under supervisor guidance
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and organize equipment efficiently
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to ensure site safety and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- Strong work ethic with punctual and reliable attendance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and overtime as needed
