Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) on-site
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, and other equipment
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
- Participate in morning safety briefings and toolbox talks
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- California residency required
