Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen in construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Perform general site cleanup and preparation duties
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Assist in setting up scaffolding and temporary structures
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass background check
