Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Operate light equipment (concrete mixers, jackhammers, etc.) with proper training
- Assist in setting up and removing temporary structures and scaffolding
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Baltimore County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Previous construction experience a plus but not necessary
