Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare surfaces for construction activities.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople with basic carpentry, painting, and general assembly tasks.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, levels).
- Documentation: Assist with inventory management and logging daily work progress.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Reliability: Punctual and willing to work in varying weather conditions.
