Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in commercial and residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure precise installations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and implement effective solutions
- Comply with all National Electrical Code (NEC) and California state regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to project specifications and timelines
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (Class A, B, or C)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of NEC and California Title 24 energy codes
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
