Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools and materials, ensuring a clean and organized site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed installations and troubleshoot minor issues as directed.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights (when applicable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
