Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential buildings
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for precise implementation
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and NYC Local Laws
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians and ensure safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors and building management teams
- Complete detailed project documentation and time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A/B)
- Minimum 5 years commercial/residential experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- NYC DOB filing experience preferred
