Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to understand project requirements and layout plans.
- Material Handling: Transport, organize, and manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment safely at job sites.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards (debris, cords, etc.) at the end of each shift.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving minor electrical issues under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driving record and current driver's license are mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
- Interest in Trades: A strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and technical manuals.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to start immediately.
