Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen in carpentry, masonry, concrete work, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety protocols
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices (OSHA certification a plus)
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, noise)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
