Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and concrete foundation work
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and trenchers
- Install and remove scaffolding, braces, and temporary structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and specialized trade professionals
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and site cleanup
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Shelby County
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
