Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Diagnose system failures using testing equipment and tools
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for project completion
- Perform safety inspections and maintain detailed work documentation
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure team adherence to protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (MD/NY)
- OSHA 10 certification and CPR training preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
