Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing systems including water lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters
- Install and maintain new plumbing systems in compliance with NYC building codes
- Perform emergency service calls during weekends and evenings (rotating schedule)
- Conduct pipefitting, soldering, and pipe threading with precision
- Lead junior plumbers on complex projects and provide technical mentorship
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify leaks, blockages, and system inefficiencies
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate client documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of verifiable plumbing experience in commercial/residential settings
- NYS Master Plumber license (required)
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Expertise in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and water heater installation
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with trenchless pipe rehabilitation technology a plus
