Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installations
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians and train new hires
- Coordinate with contractors and building managers
- Maintain detailed project documentation and safety logs
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and Florida building codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for emergencies
