Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors and clients
- Maintain detailed service records and prepare reports
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit design, and power distribution
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for emergency calls
