Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical projects accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
