Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems (leaks, clogs, water heaters)
- Install new fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems
- Perform backflow prevention testing and certification
- Read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Comply with Michigan plumbing codes and safety standards
- Respond to emergency service calls within 2 hours
- Maintain service records and inventory for assigned vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Master Plumber license required
- Minimum 3 years residential/commercial experience
- Backflow prevention certification (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Proficient with pipefitting tools and trenchless technology
