Responsibilities
- Perform Complex Installations: Execute residential and commercial plumbing installations, including pipefitting, water heater replacements, and sewer line repairs with precision.
- Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues, leaks, and drainage problems efficiently to minimize customer downtime.
- Code Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local Austin building codes, state regulations, and safety standards during every project.
- Customer Interaction: Provide clear, professional communication to customers, explaining technical issues in layman's terms and ensuring satisfaction.
- Vehicle & Tool Maintenance: Maintain company vehicles and tools in excellent working condition, ensuring readiness for daily service calls.
- Estimations: Accurately assess job sites to provide detailed written estimates for approval before beginning work.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatchers and apprentices to ensure smooth workflow and high efficiency.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Master Plumber or Journeyman License issued by the State of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using pipe threading machines, and understanding hydraulic systems.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by peak demand.
