Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout, measurement, and assembly tasks
- Maintain clean work areas and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts with frequent bending/lifting
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Willingness to work nights (6 PM - 4 AM) and weekends as needed
- Ability to read simple blueprints and follow verbal instructions
